Adding a session to your schedule in Sched does not guarantee you a spot in the room. Most sessions are first come, first served, there is no waitlist. On Sched you can add multiple sessions to your schedule that are at the same time. A session that is "POPULAR!" is on many attendee schedules and could be full. If a session requires pre-registration it will indicate this in the description and will provide details for how to pre-register.

Understanding race, racism, privilege and oppression requires concerted effort toward uncovering the daily hierarchies and power structures that surround our complex identities. For educators, promoting social justice is central to our daily work with students. Addressing specific issues such as privilege is difficult and uncomfortable for most people for a variety of reasons. This workshop will help teachers to explore these issues and provide them with ideas for student exercises and activities.
